Standing moisture, if excessive, can cause fungal diseases to develop in the vine. To prevent this, specific products called fungicides are used when necessary. The wines of Cantina di Ramuscello, the first winery in the region, obtained the Certification of “Minimum Residue” as evidence that any small presence of fungicides, is 90% less than the minimum required by law. An outstanding achievement for the Cooperative’s Members to protect the environment and the consumer.
